  A LETTER FROM A PARENT :
Dear Mrs. Catherine,
We would like to thank you and your wonderful staff for making our son feel welcome at the Rainbow Nursery School. Although there have only been two days of school so far, [our son] has been very excited to share his experiences with us each evening at dinner; especially today's "walk in the forest ," as he explained it. He was so proud to show us the leaves, pine cones and such that he had collected and cannot wait to begin working on his collage. By the way, we LOVE the refrigerator art [he] brought home on his first day!!! Before attending your school [our son] was never interested in coloring, painting or drawing so these are the first items we've had to display. We are extremely excited to see what he brings home in the future.
Sending our son to pre-school was a big, and much debated decision for us. We were very nervous that this was not the right choice for [him]; however, you and your staff have made an otherwise apprehensive situation enjoyable for our son.

Thanks again!!            [Edits by former director  Mrs. Catherine Bailey with permission]  Fall 2007
